One day I was wondering, what if? So I said, yeah! What if?! So I made this fun little playlist to get all my songs that had if in the title. No reason, just a fun little collection of songs.

Match the following criteria:

Song Name - Contains - if

Live Updating

Make sure you put a space after it otherwise you'll get songs with "life" and the like as well.

Heavy Rotation Singles

I was fed up of Smart Playlists randomly filling my iPod with album tracks that I never listen to for my 40 minute commute to work.

So I used the comment field to denote which album tracks were singles and created this Smart Playlist.

Last Played - is not in the last - 4 - days
Comment - contains - Single
Limit to - 40 - minutes - selected by - random
Live Updating

Musical Timer

I had the idea of using iTunes as a timer today while working.

I built a playlist, set it to a predefined amount of time, and iTunes filled it with quality music.

When the music stopped, I went on to my next task.

Create a Smart Playlist:

My Rating - is greater than - 3 Stars
Limit to - 20 Minutes - selected by - random

Re-Randomize Smart Playlists

To re-randomize song selections in a Smart Playlist, select all songs and press delete. The list will reselect songs based on your specified criteria.

To re-randomize the order of the songs, hold the option/alt key and click the small randomize button the lower left-hand corner of iTunes.
