My favs- four stage

I have a four stage Smart Playlist to select my fav tracks...

My rating is '0'
Genre is not 'Audiobook'
Limit to 50 songs by random
Live updating


Match All
Last played is not in the last 1 week
My rating is 4
Genre is not 'Audiobook'
Limit to 15 songs by random
Live updating


Match All
Last played is not in the last 1 week
My rating is 5
Genre is not 'Audiobook'
Limit to 5 songs by random
Live updating


Match All
Playlist is 2
Playlist is 3
Limit to 20 songs by random
Live updating

When I rate songs, any I hate and want removing from my iPod I give a rating of 1. Then use the following Smart Playlist to remove them.


Match All
My rating is 1
Match only Checked songs
Live updating

By holding down shift and selecting one of these tracks, they are all deselected. Next time I sync my iPod these tracks are removed from my iPod.

I find this works very well, for me anyway...
