Least Played Sorted SPL in Order?

I'm trying to set up a smart playlist that will play the least recently played Mozart songs (I like to listen to Mozart, but don't care what Mozart, but would prefer to not listen to the same thing over and over), but when I do Artist: Mozart; and limit to 2000 songs sorted by least recently played, the songs come up in reverse order (i.e. the end of a symphony is the first track played, then the next to the end, then the middle and finally the first part is played last).

Most of the songs are newly ripped and have not been played at all.

Also, is there a way to reset or edit the "last played" field?

Will songs update in Smart Playlist in iPod?

Although I could try this on my own, but i'm currently at work and really want to know this.

If I have a playlist, say of all the songs with 4 stars and I change the rating of a particular song to say 3, will that song be removed from the list? That is if I now scroll the list would I be able to see that song. Also, if that doesn't happen, would it happen when I restart my iPod? (i.e after restart, I won't see the song in the smart playlist)

Mac iTunes Comments Data Problem?

When I take my iTunes ripped mp3's into other programmes the comments field appears to be converted to data (a series of numerical codes with lots of zero's) taken back to iTunes the field is readable (as my smart list info) but in audion or mp3 rage it is unredable just data. I can't just rub it out because the information is impotant to me. I want my playlists to work on any player without the need for iTunes ratings ..blah blah ..advise would be much appreciated thanks....

Match all or any?

How can you make smart playlists that match ANY of the conditions and not ALL of the conditions of the playlist. This may be a stupid question but i want to be able to have some songs randomly selected from my ancient playlist and my recently added playlist. If there is a better way to get songs from both smart playlists I'm open to any advice.

Randomize a Manual Playlist on the iPod?

I'm sorry if the answer for this has been posted already, but I can't find it.

I'm a long-time PC iTunes user and I finally got my first iPod (40gb Photo). I use Smart Playlists regularly, but when I go to the gym, I have a set 30 or so songs that I've placed into a Manual Playlist that I'd like to listen to at random.

In iTunes, I just start playing that Manual Playlist and then click the convenient Shuffle Button. Does iPod have this ability? How do I get the iPod to play the 30 songs in this Manual Playlist at random?

iPod Shuffle recently played list

Just got my brand new iPod shuffle - cool and seems to work great. However it seems that while the Play Count is updating, the Last Played is not updating. Anyone else having this problem? Obviously this is a huge issue for SmartPlaylists. Thanks

Running out of space?

My problem is that my PC is running out of space and I still need to import my 5gb worth of cd's, every time that I delete songs from my PC to free up memory and then start adding more when I update my iPod it clears the original songs, is ther any way around this other than buying a new hard drive or backing up my songs,

This may bee a stupid question as I am new to this, but it seems stupid to me that you have to have songs on your PC using your memory and also on your iPod.

Shuffle stops working?

Something weird happens when I use iTunes on a PC: The Shuffle works fine on the library for an hour or so, but then it stops and just plays music from one artist. Why is this? Anyone with similair experience? Don´t have the same problem on my Mac, but I have most songs on the PC, and the PC's connected to the stereo...

Live music playlist?

I would love to have a smart playlist that is only live music, randomly played, and to have my iPod cross-fade the last two seconds of each song. I don't want my non-live music to cross fade, however. Any ideas? I'm kind of new to this and any help would be appreciated! Thanks...

Differentiating between ripped tracks and downloaded tracks?

Does anybody have a good scheme for differentiating between tracks that are ripped from one's own cd collection and tracks that were downloaded off the internet? I have considered adding a comment to all of the songs that are of my rips. Perhaps a symbol like "(o)" ... sorta looks like a cd, but the pain with this is manually adding this to all the tracks that I already have commented.

Anyone have any better ideas?
