I'm undergoing a project to have every #1 hit on the billboard hot 100 charts in my playlist. Then, with proper commenting, you can do some pretty awesome stuff.

Match the following conditions:
Comment contains [Billboard Hot 100]
Year is: ____

I've been attempting to do a similar project with my collection.. tagging all the songs that were number 1 in US charts, and also the UK and Australian charts.

You can do some interesting playlists with this information based on decades, eg

Match all:
Comment contains: [no.1 us]
Year is in the range 1960 to 1969

Match all:
Comment contains: [no.1 uk]
Year is in the range 1960 to 1969

Match all:
Comment contains: [no.1 oz]
Year is in the range 1960 to 1969

or
1970 to 1979

or
1980 to 1989

or
1990 to 1999

or obviously combine all the above playlists for a bigger playlist of hits.

Heck, simplify your life even more by shortening the search text- instead of 'Billboard', cut it down to a unique code like 'bbd',
