Apple to launch iTunes for Windows

Apple will launch iTunes for Windows at a special event next Thursday, October 16, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. "The year's biggest music story is about to get even bigger," Apple said in an invitation acquired by CNET News.com.

This follows up on public statements by Apple stating that the iTunes Music Store for Windows would be available by the end of the year.
