Sub-Playlists?

I think I know the answer to this one, but it's worth a shot. I have several songs which belong to more than one album - i.e. the song originally came on an EP, and was released on a subsequent LP. My question is, is there any way to assign that song to two albums without making two separate playlists (one for each album)?

I've never found a great way to deal with this. Sometimes the recordings are identical and not really worth keeping, while other times the cuts are significantly different. Personally, I keep them all.
