 Viewing Volume Adjustments?

Questions

Is there anyway to list songs by the auto volume adjustment? When I rip a new CD, it comes in at like -6dB. So I figure I must have some really low volume songs that it's trying to compensate for. Any way I can track down these low volume songs and delete them, so it won't have to lower everything else?

There isn't a way to do this in iTunes.

A much better way to calculate volume adjustments is MacMP3Gain.

This can be done after the fact, as sound check values are non-destructive. (unless you burn a cd with that feature enabled)

-5/6 is normal for new CD's When you rip 'old' CD's of say 1990-1995, you'll notice a +5/6 . 'Modern' cd's are mastered louder (unfortunately).
