 Mix Playlist not working?

Questions
redline

I've tried to create a playlist that gives a mix (I wanted about 30 tracks) of high rated tracks that I hadn't heard for awhile, some lower rated tracks, and just a few of my favourites. I attempted to do this as follows:

zMixA:
*Match ALL
*Last played is not in the last 1 month
*My rating is greater than ***
*Podcast is false
*Limit to 10 items selected by random

zMixB:
*Match ALL
*Last played is not in the last 3 weeks
*My Rating is less than ****
*Podcast is false
*Limit to 15 items selected by random

zMixC:
*Match ALL
*Playlist is Current Most Popular (another playlist I have)
*Podcast is false
*Limit to 5 items selected by random

Then the master playlist (which was the one I would listen to):

MIX:
*Match ANY
*Playlist is MixA
*Playlist is MixB
*Playlist is MixC
*Playlist is not Classical (another playlist I have)
*Podcast is false
*Limit to 30 items selected by random

At first this seemed to give me a good mix, with the desired ratio of each 10-15-5 for a total of 30.

BUT NOW, the MIX playlist is filling with tracks that can't even be found in any of the zMix lists. It no longer has a ratio either, with most of the MIX being unrated music. Also, it is putting in classical and podcasts.

How do I fix this?

Your problem, I think, is here:

MIX:
*Match ANY
*Playlist is MixA
*Playlist is MixB
*Playlist is MixC
*Playlist is not Classical (another playlist I have)
*Podcast is false
*Limit to 30 items selected by random

Since you have Match ANY, you're going to pull songs from these sets:
All songs in MixA
All songs in MixB
All songs in MixC
All songs not in Classical
All songs that are not podcasts

I'm betting the last two lines include a whole lot of tracks that aren't what you want.

You already have "Podcast is False" in A, B, and C. Add "Playlist is not Classical" to A, B, and C. Remove those two lines from MIX.

Cheers Matthew, I think that did it. It clearly makes a huge difference whether it is ALL or ANY, and I guess I hadn't run the boolean properly through my head.
